Nyerere National Park

Nyerere National Park, located in southeastern Tanzania, is the largest national park in the country and one of the largest in Africa. It covers approximately 30,893 square kilometers and was established in 2019 after being separated from the renowned Selous Game Reserve. The park is named after Julius Nyerere, Tanzania’s first president and a key figure in the country’s independence.
