Ibanda Kyerwa National Park is one of Tanzania’s lesser-known but stunning national parks, located in the Kagera Region, in the northwest part of the country. Covering 200 square kilometers, it was officially designated as a national park in 2019, having previously been a game reserve. The park lies near the Tanzania-Uganda-Rwanda border, making it an important transboundary conservation area.
