Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), is a world-renowned destination for trekkers and adventurers. Located in northern Tanzania, Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano with three distinct cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. The mountain is famous for its snow-capped summit, which contrasts with the surrounding savannas.
