Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Alkebulan Travels. They will assist you with the immigration and customs procedures before transferring you to your hotel in Arusha. The journey to the hotel will provide you with a glimpse of the beautiful Tanzanian landscape and the vibrant surroundings of Arusha.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing after your flight, with a briefing on your upcoming safari adventure. Overnight in Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive. Enjoy your first chance to spot lions, buffalo, zebras, and of course, elephants. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
This morning, enjoy an early game drive in Amboseli before heading to Lake Naivasha. This beautiful freshwater lake, surrounded by grassy plains, is home to a variety of bird species and hippos. After lunch, take a boat ride on the lake, spotting wildlife and enjoying the serene surroundings. Overnight at a lodge near the lake.
After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara, the highlight of your migration safari. You’ll arrive at your camp in the afternoon, just in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day on a game drive in the famous reserve, home to abundant wildlife, including the Big Five. As the wildebeest migration season peaks, the plains will be filled with the movement of massive herds. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, take a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before starting your journey back to Arusha. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, where you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable migration experience.
Another full day in the Maasai Mara offers opportunities to witness the incredible wildlife that inhabits the region. From the predatory lions, cheetahs, and leopards following the migration to the massive herds of wildebeest, each moment brings new excitement. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue your game drives until sunset.
After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhino population. Enjoy a game drive upon arrival, where you’ll also see giraffes, buffalo, and zebras. The park is a haven for birdwatchers, with hundreds of bird species found around the lake. Overnight at a lodge within the park.
Spend the morning on a final game drive in Lake Nakuru before departing for Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, giving you time to explore the bustling capital city or relax after your safari adventures. Overnight in Nairobi.
After breakfast, enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Nairobi before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your memorable Wildebeest Migration Safari in Kenya.
