Your journey begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After meeting with our team, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the evening resting or exploring the town, preparing for your upcoming safari.
After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for a flight to the Serengeti. Upon landing in the central Serengeti, you’ll embark on your first game drive, witnessing the vast herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing on the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp.
Today, travel north towards the Mara River, the site of the dramatic river crossings. As you move across the Serengeti, you’ll encounter large herds making their way to the river. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. This area is home to a variety of wildlife, including predators that follow the migration.
Spend the entire day along the Mara River, watching the herds as they prepare to cross. With patience, you may witness one of the most dramatic moments of the migration – the wildebeest braving the crocodile-infested waters. Your guide will take you to the best vantage points, ensuring you don’t miss the action. The day is filled with excitement, and you’ll return to camp with unforgettable memories.
Enjoy another full day of game viewing in the northern Serengeti. The landscape here is different from the central Serengeti, with rolling hills and lush riverbanks providing a picturesque backdrop to the wildlife. Watch for lions, cheetahs, and leopards stalking their prey, as well as elephants and giraffes moving through the area. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp to relax after a day full of adventure.
After breakfast, embark on a game drive as you make your way back to the central Serengeti. Along the way, keep an eye out for the remaining herds and predators following the migration trail. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, where you can unwind and enjoy a final Serengeti sunset.
Take an early morning game drive before flying back to Arusha. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and some time to shop for souvenirs or explore the town before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
